Success.....

Well, I finally managed to get my blog fixed up and away from the green monster it became. I took Risa's suggestion and just did the new design feature that blogger just put out. There's still a few things I can't figure out. Like changing some of the colours here and there and the sizes of the fonts. I will save that for another day.
I am loving Kelly Rae's Flying Lessons. My favourite lesson so far is about the retreats and workshops. One day I will take part. This class is really inspiring and is creating a lot of different feelings in my soul that I have never experienced before. Coooool......is all I can say.
I am off to read the Q & A for our second Saturday. I love the Saturday posts tooooooo.

  2. I applaud you for celebrating the season of life that you are in. Most people approach it with fear and trepidation:) With flying lessons you're already in motion for a new adventure. I just wonder where this will take us! I enjoy your blog as well. All the best to you...Velvet

  3. Looking good! I'm still tweaking mine too! I'm telling you once you get into that "design" mode, you can do all kinds of changes. I love playing with the color! Here's a tip that I think will be helpful...(from that article I sent you):

"Go to http://draft.blogger.com/ to log in to Blogger in Draft. (If you’ve never been there before, Blogger in Draft is just like regular Blogger, except with new, in-development features like this one.) Click on your blog’s “Layout” link to go to the Layout tab. The link to the Template Designer is at the end of the row of sub-tabs."

I think I did that accidentally, but it worked!

  4. Hi Carol, I've been kind of afraid to start messing with my blog. I'm afraid I need to set aside a whole day for it and I don't have that right now! So good for you - you're helping to move me in the right direction!!

  7. hi miss carol...
i have to say, you did a great job on the blog. it looks perfect.
i am loving flying lessons as well. i just wanted to tell you that my first retreat was last october...in oregon with kelly rae and andrea scher from mondo beyondo. it was the BEST thing i have done for myself in years.
the friends i made there and the sisterhood can.t be explained. it is a beautiful thing. i highly recommend choosing one and jumping in with both feet.
actually patty and kolleen above are two of my dear sisters from that retreat whom i love sooooo much.
    hope all is well.
    happy artful tuesday.

  8. Hello Carol - I too am taking the flying lessons. I tried to make some changes to my blog - but things did not work well for me. It looks okay now - but I want to do more - but am a little afraid. I will work on it again at some point. I think your blog looks great, and will be checking back in...
